Overview
In the morning at 06:30 AM, pick up from your hotel in Arusha town, with your packed lunch, drive on tarmac road to Ngorongoro Crater(about 3 hours drive)
We will descend into the crater floor with picnic lunch for a day game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. All the BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more.
Your lunch will be served on the picnic site at Ngoitokok swamp, a Hippo pool, after lunch proceeds with afternoon game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive back to Arusha.
Itinerary
Start the day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha town.Bring your packed lunch and embark on the 3-hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater on tarmac road. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact calderas in the world and a spectacular sight in Africa. Begin the descent into the crater floor for a day of game drives.
Embark on a game drive to spot the Big Five:Rhino,Lion,Leopard,Buffalo,Elephant. Also, look out for other wildlife, including: Zebra,Hippo,Wildebeest,Hyena. Take in the stunning scenery and enjoy the unique experience of exploring the crater floor. Take a break for lunch at the Ngoitokok swamp Enjoy your meal.Then Continue the game drive, exploring more of the crater floor and spotting additional wildlife.Keep an eye out for birds, including:Flamingos on the Soda lake,Geese,Storks,Vultures.
Begin the ascent out of the crater and depart Ngorongoro Crater.Reflect on the day’s exciting wildlife encounters and stunning scenery.
Arrive back at your hotel in Arusha, bringing back memories of the day’s adventure in Ngorongoro Crater.
